Problem: Pat Robertson's Extremism

Look at these two reasons he puts forward:

1. Ladies and Gentleman, evangelical Christians support Israel because we believe that the words of Moses and the ancient prophets of Israel were inspired by God. We believe that the emergence of a Jewish state in the land promised by God to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob was ordained by God.' We believe that God has a plan for this nation...' We believe that God has a plan for this nation which He intends to be a blessing to all the nations of the earth.
2. Of course, we, like all right-thinking people, support Israel because Israel is an island of democracy, an island of individual freedom, an island of the rule of law, and an island of modernity in the midst of a sea of dictatorial regimes, the suppression of individual liberty, and a fanatical religion intent on returning to the feudalism of 8th Century Arabia.
3. The fight is not about money or territory; it is not about poverty versus wealth; it is not about ancient customs versus modernity. No-the struggle is whether Hubal, the Moon God of Mecca, known as Allah, is supreme, or whether the Judeo-Christian Jehovah God of the Bible is Supreme. [Pat Robertson's Website]

The first reason he mentions breaches the boundary of separation of Church and State to support a religious state. The second reason destroys democracy in America while claiming to uphold it abroad; calling to go back to 1st Century feudalism as opposed to 8th Century.

Finaly Pat Robertson gives a third reason, which is to say, our God is bigger than their God. This is the idiocy of Pat and his ilk. He doesn't recognize the fact that Muslims worship the God of Moses and Abraham because his mind is stuck in dark places where the only thing he sees are looming wars and references to the world as described in the old Testament where everyone living around the Jews did not know of God. This is a deep purposeful poison he entrenches in his audience.

Pat Robertson reminds me of the character in the movie "Kingdom of Heaven" who goes around killing Muslims saying "GOD WILLS IT."
