Problem: Apocalyptic Views Being Pushed on the Mainstream

I was looking into this book the Ezekiel Option, which Pat Robertson was talking about in one of his shows. By looking up the author - Joel Rosenberg - I was able to connect several points which were so far hidden from my eyes:

1. He is absolutely serious about end times.
2. He has access to people in places of power (I'm talking presidential).
3. He gets featured on right wing media shows (Rush Limbaugh, Fox News).

Here's a little synopsis about this guy:
