Solution: Deconstructing Neo-Secular Arguments

Nelson Mandella deconstructs and rebuffs Thomas Friedman's account of the dynamics of the middle east conflict thus:

The value of separation is measured in terms of the ability of Israel to keep the Jewish state Jewish, and not to have a Palestinian minority that could have the opportunity to become a majority at some time in the future. If this takes place, it would force Israel to either become a secular democratic or bi-national state, or to turn into a state of apartheid not only de facto, but also de jure. It is no secret. What is happening is clear as the sun. The Jewish inhabitans of the new state are motivated by a nationalism which Einstien cautioned against. So why does the WASP power structure in the USA encourage it? The reason ? You may not be ready for the reason. I'll share it with you anyway:

It's because there is a massive undercurrent of religious dogma which blinds both politician and news anchor; and by extension the fickle masses into mis-percieving reality. You need only listen to the chatter and clearly you will hear it: they want to create the conditions so as to bring Jesus back - they want Armageddon (AKA conflict of civilizations/WWIII).
